Madison ‘Maddie’ Blake has recently been divorced after eleven years of marriage.  Now Maddie gets to relearn how to be single.  Along the path she joins a support group for divorced women and meets some wonderful new friends and meets a man, Cole Ashton, who along with looking sexy in a bunny suit helps Maddie learn to cherish herself again. 

THE EX-FILES:  MAYHEM AND MADDIE by Ms. Cassidy takes a humorous look at the pitfalls that await a woman after her divorce.  After being part of a couple for so long one needs to relearn how to flirt with the opposite sex along with learning how to deal with not having anyone to discuss the day’s happenings with.  A divorce can also play havoc with a woman’s self esteem.  Maddie is an incredibly real character who is learning to deal with all of these issues plus a few more.  This reviewer empathized with Maddie right from the beginning and cheered for her every time she took a step forward.  When Cole Ashton appeared on the scene, Maddie was not too sure that she was really ready to start dating again. But he then proceeded to help her build her self confidence back up again.  He is a wonderful hero, and there is that bunny suit!
