The latest in the
Sundown Inc. series, Cat Marsters’ WHAT WIZARDS WANT is fun,
funny and magically erotic.
Con Marks craved
power and probably because he was young, and well, all that goes along
with that, he made a deal with a fairy to get the power he so desired.
In exchange, Con sold himself into her service. Now he is a wizard; a
wizard on call to do the fairy’s grunt work. To make ends meet, Con
works for Sundown Inc. His latest job has Con accidentally freeing the
woman he has been having erotic dreams about for the last year from a
fishing float given to him by said fairy.
Lilly was a pirate
in the 1700s when she was suddenly imprisoned in a fishing float by a
jealous fairy. Now, she is finally free of her prison. Free to
experience all that the world has become and free to experience the man
she has been dreaming about for so long. Of course, there is also the
small matter of revenge on the fairy that imprisoned her in the first
place.
Cat Marsters’
WHAT WIZARDS WANT is a magical and zany bit of fun. Start with a
bungling wizard, stir in a dash of erotic fantasy come to life and add a
bitchy fairy to the mix and you get one steamy yet funny slice of erotic
fantasy.
The characters in
this book are all unique and have their own very distinct personality.
Con is just trying to get by using the wizardly magic he sold himself to
get. When his dream woman literally drops into his lap, he really does
not know what to make of it or her. His internal dialogue with himself
is amusing as he goes from serious to sexually distracted in the blink
of an eye. Lilly, on the other hand, is strong, confident and a pirate
who knows what she wants and how to get it. Of course, a girl has to
have some fun too. Even the secondary characters burst with personality
and a zest for life.
The storyline is a
tad light and if not for the humorous slant of the book, the storyline
would have been lacking. But funny it is and a light and enjoyable read
combined with some truly steamy sex scenes. An unusual combination to
be sure, but Cat Marsters manages to pull it off nicely. Want to try
something a little bit different? Give the latest in the Sundown Inc.
series, Cat Marsters’ WHAT A WIZARD WANTS a try and see if it
satisfies your wants as well.
