Ms. Kelleher weaves a superb tale that will engross the reader and captivate them from the first page. Her first in the series, Silver’s Edge starts the tale and Silver’s Bane continues the fight of good and evil. To stop the goblins from attacking, Delphinea has to persuade other fairy’s to help her keep them back. Intrigue, mystery and subtle paths are weaved throughout the book as the reader continues on the journey. Ness and Cecily are as strong as Delphinea and all three are a force to be reckoned with in this breathtaking tale.

Ms. Kelleher creates a storyline that will transport the reader to the farthest recesses of her creative mind and will literally fascinate the reader with a creative blend of science fiction and fantasy. The mix itself is like part a fairy tale as well as an Arthurian legend. She takes the reader to another place and time where time and space has no meaning.  Her complex and multidimensional characters drive the story and will weave a tale that will surely be read over and over again. Silver’s Bane is a fascinating blend of strong women who control their own fates as well as fear the change that is coming, a rich and complex storyline that will literally leave the reader in its grasp from beginning to end. This reviewer was easily captivated by the sheer magnificence in Ms. Kelleher’s writing. Her Silver’s Bane is a total delight in reading and this reviewer couldn’t put it down!!  Silver’s Bane leaves many questions to be answered in Silver’s Lure hopefully coming soon.

Definitely run to the nearest bookstore and grab Silver’s Bane as well as the first book, Silver’s Edge to get the clear picture of the fight of good and evil wage against the other.
