Davan Shanahan is ecstatic when she’s advised
that orders had finally came through assigning her closer to the war
zone where her skills as a surgeon could be utilized.
That is, until she finds out that she is actually assigned to the
Foehn, which is a flying brothel. Once
she arrives at her new assignment, Davan discovers she is wanted there
as much as she wants to be there. The
next six months are shaping up to be living hell.
To top it off she is having a bad hair day!
Cair Ghrian became known far and wide as the Black
Sun before he was assigned as Captain of the Foehn for refusing to marry
the woman his mother had chosen for him.
Now, his crew knows Cair as a drunkard as he attempts to forget
where he is trapped. So
being woken up by the screaming banshee who is his lover about the new
female doctor didn’t put Cair in the best of moods to meet Dr.
Shanahan. Then to find out
that his mother is behind this!
Ms. Boyett-Compo has done it again with
PLEASURE’S FOEHN. Her
characters jump off of the page and demand the reader join them. Davan and Cair are both extremely strong willed people that
strike sparks in each other from the moment they meet. This reviewer had to laugh at the practical joke played on
Davan by Cair in an attempt to run her off and how Davan’s response
earned his respect. Readers
will enjoy watching their ‘romance’ as it progresses from extreme
distaste to a love so deep that either would give their life for the
other without question.
PLEASURE’S FOEHN has it all! There are great characters, an interesting romance, danger
and best of all, there are the Reapers.
PLEASURE’S FOEHN is the start of another excellent series that
will keep the reader glued to the pages until the very last scene and
then waiting impatiently for the next book to arrive.
This reviewer highly recommends PLEASURE’S FOEHN
to any reader that loves futuristic or shape shifter romantica and to
any lover of Ms. Boyett-Compo’s Reapers.
Rush out and get a copy today.
It won’t disappoint by any means.
