Jimmy Cavanaugh has come to NYC in search of a rich woman to help him con the elite who trust their money to him much faster than would be expected. Freddie von Eckhardt is the first to succumb to Jimmy’s charm and suave attitude. Falling head first in love after he spikes her drink, she leads him into her life with a fast pace. After meeting a few of her friends he broaches the idea of a night club and many agree to wire him large sums of money to help him get started. Just before his backers learn they have been conned, Jimmy finds a way to disappear. The chaos he leaves in his wake is breathtakingly gruesome and horror filled. How can a man infiltrate a society filled with people who had the brains to make billions of dollars? Can he get away with this?

PARK AVENUE RICH opens with a bang, and keeps the reader wondering, what happens next. Though confusing in the beginning, the stories of the rich and famous keep the reader in awe as they wander through the novel shocked at the things the normal person never considers. While the characters are very open about their lives, the things they think and their emotions, their actions give this story an unrealistic feel in this reviewer’s opinion. Many times throughout it was wondered why she was still reading this novel, yet could not put it down, thus making her believe other, less cynical, readers will enjoy the mayhem that Jimmy Cavanaugh causes in the lives of the PARK AVENUE RICH.
