Grab a hold of your seat and hang on for dear life. DEADLY LOVE is a high-speed, action packed tale of a woman trying to survive an insane maniac’s long reaching connections. It seems that wherever Melissa turns, there is Nathan’s goons. Our leading couple will make the reader smile. From the very first both are fighting their attraction for each other. Melissa has learned she can’t trust anyone. She hasn’t even been able to use her own name for more than 4 years. Cody is under the impression that Melissa is just a spoiled, rich girl who has been brainwashed by her kidnapper, Jesse and it is his job to return her to her beloved fiancé, Nathan. One life-threatening instance after another, bring this couple together and they soon are unable to deny their love for each other. And Nathan is a character the reader will love to hate. He is a deliciously evil person without any redeeming qualities. Author Ashley Ladd has penned him perfectly. This reviewer hasn’t felt so connected with characters in a book in a long time. Ms. Ladd is truly a gifted storyteller and she has an incredible gift of creating believable and endearing characters. Smooth flowing; this reviewer only complaint is that the book had to come to an end. And such a satisfying and delightful end it was. A very highly recommendation for romance and suspense readers, while it does contain mild sexual content, it is not too graphic for this suspense lover’s taste. Don’t miss DEADLY LOVE. Your only disappointment will be if you do.
