Her characters are full of many hidden levels that will capture the reader’s imagination and mesmerize the reader from beginning to end. Her main characters, Fane and Rexana are pure in heart but also full of shadows. Filled with pain from his childhood, Fane is the ultimate alpha male, as he is a ruthless man who shows Rexana much tenderness and passion as they come together. Wooed by his love yet wanting to clear her brother, Rexana is complex yet at times driven to find her answers. She is the perfect foil to Fane and Ms. Kean captures their essence completely.

The story itself was full of many intricate details that drive the story and will make the reader wish they could be there. DANCE OF DESIRE is a perfect blend of character and plot driven storyline. This reviewer could not put it down. The mystery of who the traitors were and the back story of Fane and Rexana’s love made this a breathtaking book. The interplay between many of the secondary characters made the story flow fast as a raging river. Ms. Kean is a gifted writer that will deliver a timeless classic for any book lover. This reviewer found her story quite believable as well as highly entertaining. It wasn’t too overly graphic in sex yet was told in a way that enhances the love story of Fane and Rexana. Ms. Kean is a writer to be watching as one reads DANCE OF DESIRE and escapes to the times when men where strong as oaks and the women just as strong in desire. Run to buy Dance of Desire and find a book worth getting lost in.
