Mike is a police officer and his job is to investigate dead bodies, but that of the human kind. Just days later they have another chance meeting. But soon the sparks will fly! Their attraction is immediate and intense. The reader will feel the heat through the pages and hope that they will soon give in to the feelings that are burning within. This reviewer felt the book drag just a bit in the middle, however Emma is such a sweet character the reader won’t mind too much the wait for the action to pick back up. The characters are well thought out and just delightful. Ms. Wallace has penned a tale with several misunderstandings hindering their relationship getting off the ground, situations where this reader couldn’t help but to laugh out loud.
