Detective Mike Denton takes a call about a dead body. But when he arrives he discovers the body is that of a dog, not a person. Emma was so devastated when she found the dog she was watching dead she wasn’t thinking straight and she ended up calling 911.

Now that they have met, Mike and Emma seem to run into each other everywhere they go. They are very attracted to each other, but neither are looking for a relationship…even though friends and family are determined they will make a perfect match. Will the past keep them apart or will they take a chance on love?

CUPID'S ARROW opens with a misunderstanding. A dead dog named Cupid’s Arrow brings our leading couple together in a sad, yet humorous situation. Mike is a police officer and his job is to investigate dead bodies, but that of the human kind. Just days later they have another chance meeting. But soon the sparks will fly!  Their attraction is immediate and intense. The reader will feel the heat through the pages and hope that they will soon give in to the feelings that are burning within. This reviewer felt the book drag just a bit in the middle, however Emma is such a sweet character the reader won’t mind too much the wait for the action to pick back up. The characters are well thought out and just delightful. Ms. Wallace has penned a tale with several misunderstandings hindering their relationship getting off the ground, situations where this reader couldn’t help but to laugh out loud.

Don’t miss out on CUPID’S ARROW. It is a wonderful way to spend a lazy summer afternoon. This reader just might have to check out Ms. Wallace’s other offers. Enjoy!
