Strap on your seat belts for one of the best reads
of the year!
Andrew Sullivan is a stuffy stockbroker and a
millionaire. He spent his life raising his brothers and sisters after
his parents died, and now, he wants some adventure in his life. He wants
to drive across the country and see the sights, but he never got his
license. Andrew hires Francesca, “Frankie”, Ling to chauffeur him.
Although she is seriously directionally impaired, Cupid shoots straight
at these two and gives them more excitement than they ever dreamed!
J.M. Jeffries broadsides readers with this
“fun-tastic” book! While Cupid and Venus are on hand to steer the
romance, this writing team should be called the Goddesses of Giggles.
There are more “crack-ups” in this book than a NASCAR race.
The characters are captivating, the plot is
playful, and the dialogue is downright delightful! As the scene shifts
from the heavenly to the earthly action, readers will see the
maneuvering by Venus and Cupid. Although Venus had been demoted as the
Goddess of Love, she’s out to prove that she still knows her stuff and
pulls out all the stops to make this love match. However, Vesta, the
Goddess of Virtue, has replaced her, and she doesn’t want Venus and
Cupid to succeed. Vesta sets up a few roadblocks that adds a new
dimension to this blossoming romance and keep readers smiling.
The lively banter and the sexual tension between
the main characters make this book a pleasure to read. The secondary
characters round out the scenes and add their own touch of humor and
whimsy. There is a mischievous mixture of attraction and adventure that
drives the story and accelerates the fun.
The Captivating Chauffeur is a solid
collision of humor and romance!
