Sean and Bronwyn ‘Bronnie’ have been in love since grade school.  As they have gotten older their love has deepened and matured.  However Bronnie’s parents do not feel that Sean is good enough for their daughter.  So one evening they drug Bronnie and ship her off to a secluded Irish convent/school for problem kids.  This does not destroy Bronnie’s love for Sean especially after she finds that she is carrying their child.

Sean has found his mate for life in Bronnie and he will never love another.  As he plans his search for Bronnie, his crusade gets derailed.  Sean’s real father shows up and tells Sean his story.  Sean also finds out that he is not human and that for Bronnie’s safety he must stay away from her entirely.

BLACKWIND:  SEAN & BRONWYN by Ms. Boyett-Compo is a tragic tale of true love set set in contemporary times that has all the odds stacked against it.  Sean is a very polite, intelligent and devout young man who found the woman that he would love forever early in life.  From the time Sean first saw Bronnie he had been planning for their future.  The only mark against him was the fact that he was from the wrong side of the tracks and Bronnie’s parents would not accept that.  Bronnie is a very sweet and caring young woman who fell for Sean the first time she saw him when his mother was registering him in grade school.  While she knew the odds were against them, Bronnie also knew that nothing would destroy their love.   This reader truly enjoyed watching their love deepen and mature as they did.

BLACKWIND:  SEAN & BRONWYN has a wonderful supporting cast where the ones that you should be able to trust such as parents can become villains at times and the characters that are evil by definition such as the NightWind are helpful and can be depended on at times.  The scenery of Ireland where Ms. Boyett-Compo takes her readers is so graciously described that this reviewer felt that she was actually there for a visit.  BLACKWIND:  SEAN & BRONWYN is truly an enjoyable book that this reviewer recommends for any lover of paranormal romance or the Reapers.
