On her thirtieth
birthday, heiress Janine Bartolino’s friends take her to an exclusive
club called Sneak Peak. Janine has absolutely no clue what the club is
until one of the owners,
Phillipe “Del” Delacroix, not only tells her but shows her that it is a
sex club for exhibitionists and voyeurs. Janine’s words say that she is
appalled, but Del can tell by her actions that she is actually
intrigued.
Del seems to know
Janine better than anybody else and Janine is drawn to him against her
better judgment. Del has never had more than a passing interest in any
woman until Janine and she lights his fire like no other woman ever
has. Is it possible for Del to make all Janine’s secret fantasies
become reality while still keeping discreet enough not to tarnish the
Bartolino family’s name?
SHOW ME
is the second book in the Sneak Peak duet by Jaci Burton.
WATCH ME told about Sneak Peak’s other owner Alejandro Diaz
and either book can be read as a stand-alone novel.
While both books
are good, this reviewer enjoyed SHOW ME more. Janine is a very
complex character, she has a reputation to uphold as the person in
charge of her deceased fathers philanthropic organization but she also
has a secret fantasy life that Del lets her explore freely. When they
do venture into that forbidden territory it makes for some incredibly
steamy reading!
Ms. Burton does a
great job of showing that people from any station in life can have
desires that might surprise those around them. SHOW ME is a
great representation of “no one knows what goes on behind closed doors”,
but also makes you think it might be fun to find out!
