Romantic Suspense

Just when Vanessa is ready to move past her late husband Jim Abbott’s suicide, people are starting to turn up dead.  People who had been important in Jim’s life were being systematically murdered and painted red as Jim would do when he wasn’t happy with a painting.  Was Jim’s suicide faked?   Is he coming back for her just has she started taking steps toward a new life for herself and her son?

PAINT IT RED by Carla Cassidy is a top notch romantic suspense that will keep the reader guessing right up till the very end.  The writing is tight, the dialogue witty and the plot just flows from the pages.  Kudos to Ms. Cassidy for penning such a delight! Any readers that enjoy romantic suspense are in for a real treat.

Vanessa, the heroine, is very easy to relate to and emphasize with.  Jim’s suicide tore apart their family unit but she is a strong woman and has managed to rebuild a life for herself and her son.  Not looking for love, none-the-less she finds it when she meets Christian Connor at the final showing of Jim’s works.  Christian is also a strong man who doesn’t want to be attracted to Vanessa because of her child.  Is he also now a target?

This reviewer highly recommends PAINT IT RED to any fans of romantic suspense and Carla Cassidy.  She is at the top of her game with this one! Be sure to rush out and pick up your copy of PAINT IT RED.  Oh, and be prepared for that tingle of terror to echo up and down your spine.
