After coming out of rehab, Lauren returns to The Pit and her job.  The first thing she does is to go to the garage to see the Mannhof bike.  There is a special connection between them.  Its owner had never been able to ride it.  It just won’t go on, in spite of being checked, but when Lauren gets on it, it flares to life between her legs, its power coursing through her.  This bike has been made by the legendary Klaus Mannhof just for her.  The man slumbering within comes to life before her eyes as the bike disappears.  She thinks she’s finally going crazy.  Jakob was designed to heal her and help her to once again trust in herself by loving her completely.  The seduction is about to start, no matter how Lauren feels about herself. 

This is a story about a woman who has lost herself and because she can’t get out of the environment she lives in, she has no hope to find out just how strong she really is.  It’s only when she meets Jake, who has been designed and made especially for her, can she begin again to trust herself.  Jake loves her completely, he is true and his heart is pure.  He is Lauren’s soul mate and does all he can to prove it to her.  Alice Gaines has written a poignant, heart warming story that is hot and emotional.  This is a wonderful second part of this series and also incorporates the main characters of the first book.  This reviewer is now going to read the third in this series and is looking forward to it very much.
