Adam lives in a temple and lives a peaceful life on the Planet Raxis.  He has the gift of knowing when two people are life mates and has encouraged many a joining.  Even his own brother has now met his mate.  Only Adam hasn’t found his own, and longs for his own mate.  Then she arrives, falling out of the sky in a spaceship and crashing into his temple.  The clan comes first and it looks like his new visitor could be considered a danger.  Now his whole world is turned upside down.  He learns that his life isn’t what he thought it was, that galactic wars are almost on his doorstep and he needs to persuade his new visitor that she really is his mate.  Trouble is, he only has days before danger invades his peaceful planet.   

L Shannon is a favorite writer of this reviewer’s.  Her shapeshifter books are different and unique and this reviewer has enjoyed every single one of them.  This new story is no exception.  Now, L Shannon has brought her werewolves to outer space and it’s a wonderful ride to accompany Adam on his quest to protect his one true mate, who turns out to be Evelyn Moonshine.  He needs to show her that he is truly her mate, and the love scene is wonderfully written and very sensual.  This is a lovely short read, just right for a lazy afternoon and there is lots of action to keep the reader reading.  If you haven’t read a book by L Shannon, this reviewer urges you, compels you to go get one right way...you’ll want them all!
