Charley Thomas is a survivor of a brutal attack and she’s almost going to lose her job as a motorcycle cop.  If only she could remember the faces of those that raped her, she could round up the creeps and get on with her life.  Her situation is so that she is a risk to her co-workers and so she’s been asked to take a break.  When a Mannhof motorcycle shows up on her driveway she can’t resist a ride.  But the motorcycle seems to have a mind of its own and it brings her to a place where she meets two other ladies who also have Mannhof bikes.  Then she gets the shock of her life when she meets the man behind the bike.  A man who will help her to find those men and make her feel whole again. 

In this, what seems to be the last story in the Mannhof series, and this reviewer desperately hopes not, we meet a woman who can no longer trust men or stand to have them touch her.  Charley is a tortured heroine who is in need, so Nick, the sexy man who can change into a motorcycle has more than his hands full winning her trust.  The plot is tense, the dialogue tight and the characters are heart winning.  Ms. Gaines has again written a winning story that is creative and different.  It’s hot with a little female/female action and lots of sexual tension.  Fans of the Mannhof series will enjoy this story and this reviewer is sure that Ms. Gaines will be receiving some emails asking for more.  This reviewer has really enjoyed this series and this story is the culmination of the three.
