His Father’s
Daughter by Jennifer Mueller
A Norman Lord
arrives at a Saxon Lady’s manor in need of care after a battle. Even
though the Saxons are trying to rid England of the Normans, this one finds
that not all Saxons are enemies. Gwenhyfer is her father’s daughter whom
most men are scared of, but this Norman sees her as she really is.
Jennifer Mueller
draws her reader into the world of the Norman rule in England and deftly
crafts a story that entertains, captures and tickles the senses. Her
characters are solid with depth and emotion, the plot is tight and the
love scenes are passionate and romantic. A wonderful story to start this
anthology with.
Whispers by H.
H. Self
When a beautiful,
young Indian woman comes to the ranch to help with the horses, Hank is at
first skeptic. Drawn to her, she not only captures the heart of the
horse, but of this cowboy too. Hank is in danger of not only losing his
job.
It is wonderful to
see another story out by H. H. Self. This reviewer loves is poetic prose,
the depth of his sensual love scenes and the great characters he
portrays. He is truly a wonderful short story writer and this reviewer
hopes he will come out with a full grown novel.
The Triangle by
Jinx Williams
Three girl-friends
go to the Bermudas for a holiday. One of them gets pulled back to a
strange dimension while snorkeling to meet a man from the past. They find
a strange orb and embark on an adventure that takes them both through time
and space.
An exciting story
of love beyond the confines of time, Jinx Williams has crafted a story
that certainly thrills while it entertains. What more could a reader want
than adventure, hot love scenes, and a Scottish hero with a sexy brogue.
Yum!
Entrapped by Mae
Powers
Doctor Kyleen
Anderson has created a computerized machine that can read books and create
the fantasy. When her dog chases her cat and they all fall against the
machine, she is suddenly transported into the scenario of a futuristic
romance novel. Will the hero be hers?
More of a romp,
this story is a little tongue-in-cheek concerning futuristic romance
stories, but none the less it is entertaining and fun. Who wouldn’t like
to really live, at least for a while, inside one of those hot romances we
all love to read?
