Silver SanMartin is an outcast of her clan after a usurper killed her family and took over the leadership.  She seeks out Jet, warlord of his own clan, in the hopes of convincing him to help her kill the usurper and take over the clan.  Clan wars are imminent and so few seem to really want peace.  Jet has been trained his whole life and has sworn a ten year oath of celibacy but when he meets Silver, his resolve almost flies out the window.  He is intrigued by her beauty, her brains and her charm, so he brands her and takes her in.  Can he really trust her?  Can he confess he loves her?  After such a long time of sexual abstinence, can he be the man she needs?  Betrayal and heartbreak await them both as they explore their relationship but love and honor will win in the end. 

This reviewer has been waiting for this story for a long time and how she finally got it in her greedy paws she devoured it in one sitting.  Ciar Cullen draws the reader into a wonderful fantasy world of elves, clans and danger.  An adventure that will thrill the reader, characters that will sear the heart and emotions that grip and squeeze, Ms Cullen leads her reader down a wild ride that will leave her breathless.  Jet is so much a leader with awesome powers on one side, but so naïve and helpless when it comes to love on the other.  Silver compliments him perfectly and this reviewer loved the banter between them.  The story flows well, the dialogue sounds so natural and normal and the love scenes are hot and sizzling and oh so very romantic.  This reviewer hopes that soon there will be more stories from this wonderful world.
