Dr Lucas has a Jane Doe patient.  She was found beaten, almost dead.  He feels strangely drawn to the lovely lady laying in a coma while she heals.  He allows his young son, Joe to visit her daily to talk to her.   

Cassie remembers a time long ago, a time when she was alone on a ranch and a young man came to help her and her son Joe with the work.  Her abusive husband had left her and she was grateful for the help.  She finds love with this young man, but it is doomed. 

When Dr. Lucas’ patient awakes, many things are revealed.  He lets her stay at his home with his son and mother while she hides from a brutal ex-husband who is determined to finish the job he started. 

Dolores J. Wilson has masterfully interwoven a story that embraces the past with the future that gives the reader a wonderful story full of twists and turns.  This is a story of love that transcends time and this reviewer loved how the theme of reincarnation carried over to the present.  Ms. Wilson writes wonderful multi-dimensional characters, an enthralling plot, a beautiful sweet romance.  This reviewer had to reach for a hanky as the story came to its very satisfying end.  Those romance readers who prefer the sweeter kind mixed with a bit of time travel will adore this story.  This reviewer particularly liked how the little boy, Joe was added to the mix and gave the story more depth.  A must read for all who love true romance with a dash of suspense.
