Cleopatra Lutz,
former Hollywood actress turned
vampire has been hiding out since her maker died leaving her alone.
Cleo,
an actress at heart, is now living as
Delores DeNight a late night TV host,
pretending to be a Vampire. The real problem however is the fact she
really does not known how to be a true Lady Nightwalker.
Michael
Brown former companion to Vladimir, a Nightwalker himself, sees Cleo
as a way to get the woman he has always loved, plus to be a companion once
more. Michael’s real problem is
that Cleo does not want him to be
her companion -- or anything else for that matter.
The heroine, Cleo
has had a rough 90 years, first turned into a Nightwalker against her will
during the prime of her career, and then left alone when the man who made
her is destroyed. Now some nasty people want to kill her again.
The hero Michael is
sweet, sexy, smart, rich and a true Cleopatra Lutz fan. However when she
refuses to acknowledge him as her companion,
Michael’s
possessive and extremely stubborn streak comes shining through. By taking
matters and her body into his own hands, can he shows his love just
exactly how much she needs him?
Cricket Sawyer has
created a delightfully delicious tale of Vampires and their loves. Her
characters are well developed and their passion explosive. The scenery is
vivid from one place to another, one movie scene to the next. The
secondary characters feel real without drawing you away from the hero and
heroine. The plot moves smoothly, as well as ridiculously funny at
times.
This reviewer
enjoyed peaking into the authors mind where there are monsters that go
bump in the night, only erotically this time.
