Under The
Spell is the tale of love
lost, then found again, where hard headedness and pride over ruled hearts
and needs. When Tina had ventured back into the bookstore once again, it
brought back vivid memories of her Grandmother and her hidden magic. Tina
no longer hides from the magic but is embracing it wholeheartedly; she
hopes that it will bring back the man she loves, at least for one night.
Ryan had plans on
seeing his love once more, using the guise of getting some of his
clothes. Even the cat, Nera plays a special role in this tale, where you
the reader begin to wonder if not for her would the heroine have realized
it was the heroes love for her that brought him back.
The language was
easily understandable and before it became hard Kallysten used the heroine
cleverly to stop it. The spells themselves are real enough that you
begin to wonder where the real book store “Other Worlds” can be found. I
have enjoyed stepping away from her vampires and meeting her magician.
In this newest
story by Kallysten, we see a world where magic is accepted and with it the
right people blossomed into something great. Where love conquers past
hurts to make their love all whole and real once more. Kallysten has
created a vivid background with only one secondary character that seemed
more like a main one. Kallysten has a real talent for creating
unforgettable characters and tales of passion that will leave you
whimpering for more.
