Deri Sullivan has been working for and lusting after her boss for three years.  She dreams of him, fantasies about him but Coyle O’Caha is not only a gorgeous hunk of a man, he is also a ladies man.  Rich, devastating and full of charm, Deri knows that there would be nothing between them but a quick romp between the sheets.  Deri has a secret, one that she means to tell Coyle about and when she’s alone with him one evening in his pub and he gets dangerously close, she feels a magic she never thought possible.  More than their attraction sizzles and Deri learns not only that Coyle has been wanting her since he first met her, but that he too has secrets.  A little immortal help is needed to get these two soul-mates together. 

This reviewer must say it…the only thing that’s really wrong with this story is that it’s not long enough.  This is a short, quick, erotic tale about two people who finally, after a long time of lusting after each other, get together.  In true Ms. Roth style, we have characters that are charming, sexy, and a little larger-than-life.  The love scenes are sexy, sizzling, sensuous and highly erotic.  Sacred Places is a quick, titillating tale that will get more than the senses going.  This reviewer does recommend a man close by, or at least an ice bucket.  Witty dialogue bursts through this story, the plot is simple but well done and the characters are certainly entertaining. Ms. Roth fans will certainly not be disappointed with this very pleasant, short story.  Now, pass that ice bucket!
