Hollostar Nyssa is
a dominating self serving Fem, who has had her way for as long as anyone
can remember. However there is someone who will not bow down to her or
her desires. The biggest problem with him is that he is a Dominate and
his race needs an Obedient, which goes against every instinct she has.
Primale Theron of
the Guardians has his entire future and career mapped out. Never wanting
to have a mate he is resistant to say the least in his new command.
Guarding and disciplining Nyssa, the discipline part is easy, but the lust
and need to make Nyssa his, proves to be a bigger problem than he is
willing to admit.
The future of their
people is at stake, the Highs Council has decided to take matters into
their own hands. Nyssa and Theron though have their doubts about each
other and the High Councils plans.
Reese Gabriel has
created a beautiful beginning for the More Than Male Series. Her
visions of the future are interesting to say the least. Her beginning
hero and heroine lead into the series with such passions and spunk that
the books following will have a hard time to keep in tune with this one.
The idea that man
would create its own race and make having a baby seem barbaric, goes
against all this reviewers beliefs and leads me to a future where you feel
empathy for those who have to live in it. Even the way they raise the
children they create in labs is formal and unemotional.
