Brandon Powell Largo, a former CIA agent and now a member of the elite squad SIRCCO cannot determine what is real and what is lies anymore. The only thing she knows for certain is her feelings for Kahl, a fellow operative and the man of her fantasies.

Kahl Bedrosian is a man’s man and agent to the extreme. Even though he has wanted Brandon for a very long time he has not acted upon it until now. The only problem is they may die before she knows the truth.

Their last mission has put everyone on edge, and this new mission is even worse. How can he keep the woman he wants more than his own life safe when he cannot even control his own safety.

The story line is confusing to say the least going from one scene to another like jumping from a cliff. Though we mainly see through the heroine’s eyes we get glimpses into the hero’s actions and words to know what he is feeling. This keeps both the heroine and the reader guessing what really happened and what is going to happen next. Ciana Stone has created a tale of intriguing suspense and romance in a gripping tale that will boggle reader’s minds to the very end. The scenery is breathtaking, the dialog easy to follow, and the setting a true romantic suspense.
