A furious blizzard brings Myles Donal and Kendran together in a small lonely croft in the middle of the Highlands. Neither Myles nor Kendran knew at the beginning that they had more in common than the fateful meeting there. But soon Myles discovers that Kendran has to be the woman that he was ordered to marry, what he didn’t know was that she is his bride’s sister. After they spent the night together Myles departed to meet Kendran’s father and prepare the upcoming wedding. Once he arrived he realizes their mistake. Will there be a chance for the star-crossed lovers to have a future together? 

The Knight before Christmas is another good book by Jackie Ivie. It was really fun to see how the relationship between Myles and Kendran developed. At the beginning, they were fighting like dogs and cats. Kendran is a very stubborn woman, who has no problems in entering a battle of wills with Myles. She didn’t get the nickname “Harridan of the Highlands” without a reason.  When the reader learns about her past, it’s very easy to understand why she has so many problems with men and that she really needs a special man to heal her wound. At the first glance, the reader wouldn’t think that Myles is the One, because he is a very dominant alpha, but he will surprise everyone. 

Altogether The Knight before Christmas is a funny and emotional book that you don’t want to miss. So curl up on your sofa and spend a cold winter afternoon with a hot Scot.
