Geeky vampire Francis Deville looks like just the right customer for Lil to try her matchmaking skills on and prove to the vampire community that DED is the hottest dating service in the Big Apple. Then she meets the drop-dead gorgeous bounty hunter Ty who is hot on the trail of a serial kidnapper. Lil is totally attracted to the luscious vamp, but he’s a made vampire and cannot procreate so he is off bounds. All her work re-vamping Francis and helping Ty solve his murder mystery keep her too busy for any romantic involvements….but a girl can dream, right?

Dear reader, just think Stephanie Plum with a big dose of AB negative and you have just about got the gist of this vampire romp. Kimberly Rae has created a wonderful heroine who is being hounded by her mother to hook up with the perfect vamp mate with the best fertility quota, trying to keep her vampirism a secret from her colleague, keeping her hands off the most gorgeous vampire she’s ever seen, because he is made and not pure and giving a make over to the most nerdy vampire she’s ever met. This story is fast moving, has sassy dialogue and is just plain fun! This reviewer believes the reader will love the way Ms. Raye portrays her vampires, and her werewolfs, and of course her humans. But her vampires are really interesting, different and Lil is the funniest of them all. This reviewer read this book on the bus and twice almost missed her stop! A must read!!
