When men literally fall
from the sky followed by a hail of bullets and then your home burns to
the ground, you must be part of Penny McCall’s latest romantic suspense,
TAG, YOU’RE IT!
Heiress and former Miss
USA, Alex Scott is happy living in the isolated Colorado Rockies
studying mountain lions and licking her wounds from a relationship she
would really like to just forget. Then undercover FBI agent Tag Donovan
literally falls from the sky and Alex can’t seem to stop herself from
coming to his aid. Now, Alex’ life is about to take a dangerous and
adventure filled change of direction.
Penny McCall’s
TAG, YOU’RE IT
is a fast paced and fun romantic suspense that is sure to bring out the
adventurous side in everyone who reads it. Alex is a strong woman
prepared to take on all comers. She has made a few mistakes in the
romance department and just wants to put that side of her life on hold
for a while as she studies mountain lions in a remote cabin in the
Colorado Rockies. Fate, on the other hand, has other plans for Ms.
Scott. Tag Donovan is an FBI agent on a mission. He isn’t quite sure
how Ms. Scott fits into his latest mission, but from the moment she
decides to save his frozen and injured person after being shoved out of
a plane, they are in this little adventure together to the end.
The snappy dialogue and
quit wit shared between these two characters as they make their way from
one mishap to another while chasing a mythical treasure long buried
really makes this book a treasure to read. The secondary characters are
engaging and really add to the storyline. Ms. McCall manages to weave
these secondary characters into the storyline at just the right spots to
create intrigue and quick direction changes. Just when you think you
have all the players figured out, something happens and you are back to
guessing who is who and where they fit in.
Readers looking for a
little light, fun tease of romantic suspense need look no further.
Penny McCall provides just the right amount of friction between
the characters and humorous interaction to have readers clamoring to say
TAG, YOU’RE IT!
