Tara Janzen is once again ON THE LOOSE
as she takes readers on an incredibly fast-paced race through guerrilla
camps, drug lords, DEA agents and wayward nuns!
C. Smith Rydell is ex-DEA and cool as
a cucumber. At least he was until he was pulled from a dangerous
mission and sent to play bodyguard to pampered socialite Honey York.
Honey is the same woman he caught smuggling cash into El Salvador a few
months ago and now she is planning to go back, with him.
Honey’s sister the nun in ON THE
LOOSE again and now Honey has to find a guerrilla camp, deliver a
briefcase, find her sister and find her way home in a forty-eight hour
period. It helps that her bodyguard is extremely well trained and no
stranger to Honey.
Tara Janzen’s latest wacky romantic
suspense, ON THE LOOSE, is everything we have come to expect from a Tara
Janzen book. The heroine is beautiful, sexy and far more than she
appears. She is smart, loyal and surprisingly capable. Her hero is a
strong, well trained alpha male with no time for relationships, until he
meets our girl, the one who got away. The secondary characters, the
drug lords, assassins and especially the nuns, enhance this storyline
tenfold.
ON THE LOOSE is zany, action-packed
and dangerous fun. The sex is playful and inevitable and still manages
to be steamy hot. The story within a story is a nice set up for a
future adventure. Sure, the unbelievable pace of the book requires a
bit of a stretch of imagination, but when you pair a socialite with a
spec ops operative, you expect to be stretching that imagination a
little bit, right?
Tara Janzen’s ON THE LOOSE may not
have a deep storyline that keeps you glued to your chair, but it is
definitely an enjoyable read that keeps readers entertained from first
page to last. Fans of wild and wacky romance with some adventure tossed
in for good measure will be delighted with Tara Janzen’s ON THE LOOSE.
