The Felys are a
dying race. An emissary is sent to Argon to ask their healers for help
in trying to find out the reason. Now the stage is set, an Argon
healer, an irritating Fely male and lots of sparks. How come Illam is
the only one who can scent the Argon female? He cannot admit to himself
that he is attracted to Tera. She annoys him and he’s soon hissing, and
not only in anger. Together, they have to stop the fur from flying long
enough to find out what is happening to the Fely race. They uncover a
deadly secret. And they uncover a passion so strong it takes them both
by surprise. Tera and Illam have their work cut out for them, if they
can only put aside their prejudices and get on with the job.
Angela Verdenius
gives her readers an absolutely captivating read with characters that
leap off the pages. Here we have an interracial romance; the Fely’s
being very cat like and the Argon’s, a species that are very sensual and
irresistible. This reviewer loves stories where the hero and heroine
are at first fighting, trying to deny the attraction and mistaking it
for dislike. Ms. Verdenius also writes wonderful love scenes that are
hot, sensual and very romantic. Ms. Verdenius also gives her readers,
not only a hot, romantic love story, but an exciting plot that keeps the
reader turning the cyber pages. Lovers of futuristic romances must get
this talented writer’s work. It’s not to be missed. This reviewer is a
firm fan and has already started to collect her work in print. Her
books are keepers on this reviewer’s bookshelf.
