Jesse might no longer be a succubus, but that doesn’t mean that her life is easier than before. Far from it, because she wants to explain her hellish past to her hottie boyfriend Paul, but how to explain that you had sex with men before you took their souls? Another complication in her life is Daunuan, who is hitting on her, plus Hell wants her back. As if life is not difficult enough she starts wondering if Paul really loves her. 

Finally, Jesse and Paul are back and Ms. Kessler entertains her readers with the new escapades of the succubus turned human and her tart tongue. Ms. Kessler delivers with THE ROAD TO HELL a worthy and very entertaining sequel to her debut novel Hell’s Bells. Once you start reading this novel you won’t be able to put it down, because it is so fascinating to see what happens next as the story line is in no way predictable and every second it takes a surprising new turn. 

Paul and Jesse are wonderful characters and especially Jesse is absolutely unique. She really is the personification of a Kick-ass heroine. She is witty and really rocks. 

So if you love to read very good paranormals, you really don’t want to miss this book. But I recommend that you have read Hell’s Bells prior reading THE ROAD TO HELL, because otherwise you won’t know the whole background of the story. 

Ms. Kessler is definitely an author that you want to keep an eye on, because she is a rising star in the world of Paranormal/Dark Fantasy stories.
