After the death
of a long time friend, Morgan Fields is now trying to hunt down his
son. She needs to tell him of the death of his father and about the
inheritance he has been left. She finds out however, that Joshua
Lansing has no phone, no electricity and no running water. Forced to
drive, then walk the rest of the way to his house, she is surprised to
find a handsome man living in, not a shack, but a very nice house.
Joshua is a loner and an artist. Morgan admires his work, especially
the one of the half-woman, half-cougar painting. Little does she know,
but Josh shares the same heritance that she has tried so long to
suppress. Together, they find companionship and most of all love, and
together they fight to save the forest from poachers.
Jude Mason has
written a hot story that is sensual and exciting on many levels.
Morgan, the heroine has tried to supress her dual nature by taking
medication during the full moon. Ms. Mason has written the first
meeting between Morgan and Joshua with lots of sparks and sexual tension
that has the reader longing for their first joining. Most of the story
is about how Joshua helps Morgan with her double nature and how they
find the love that Joshua’s father knew would happen between them. Ms.
Mason has imbued the story with a love of nature, so that when the
poacher arrives on the scene, the revenge that Joshua and Morgan take on
him seems justifiable indeed. This reviewer enjoyed this story very
much, and lovers of shapeshifter stories should definitely pick this one
up. You won’t be disappointed.
