Kara
Godwin writes stories about the fates of death people that are talking to
her, so she shouldn’t be surprised when Captain Robert Walton appears in
front of her and tells her that he is real and she should write his story.
To be truthful he not only wants her to write his story, but he also wants
her completely -- body, heart and soul. He will make her fantasies come
true. Will Kara be able to free Robert from his two hundred year old ice
prison?
Captain Robert Walton is an unusual and very fascinating character, who
put a spell on this reader from his first appearance. He is very
charismatic and sexy.
Kara
isn’t really sure which one of her men she really wants and if she wants
to follow her fantasies and secret dreams. This reviewer felt really
sorry for Kara’s best friend and lover, Peter, who is only a substitute
for Robert. Some of Kara’s actions were quite hard to understand.
The
storyline is a very fascinating one and the relationship between Captain
Robert and Kara is an interesting and very unusual one. The only little
drawback is that this reviewer wanted to throttle Kara, because of some of
her actions, but otherwise the book was really enjoyable.
Maybe
Peter will get his own story in the future, he really deserves one.
Kara’s Captain
is not only a book for fans of BDSM romances but as well as fans of
paranormal romances.
