Jaguar's Rule

Waking up in pain, Aaron James discovers that his plane crashed on the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary and that being injured he is dependant on Reya Daines, the woman that rescued him. Finding her to be the most intriguing and beautiful woman he has ever known, Aaron quickly falls in love with Reya. But she has her secrets and will he be able to accept them? And if he is, will Aaron be able to prevail against the darkness stalking Reya?

Admittedly fascinated by tales of cat shifters, this reviewer quickly became engrossed by JAGUAR’S RULE by Ms. Michaels. Ms. Michaels does a wonderful job of not only telling an extremely hot story but also educating her readers about the habits of the mysterious jaguar. The location, being set at a wildlife sanctuary outside of Belize, exotic though this reviewer is sorry to say that details are lacking about the setting.

Reya is a very independent and intelligent woman who was most definitely not looking for love, though a lot of hot sex was an enjoyable part of her game plan. Aaron, very much an alpha male, is more then a match for this independent queen. The sparks that erupt between these two are hot enough to set the page on fire and the quenching more then sufficient to have any reader sighing with satisfaction. The evil that stalks them is particularly vile especially when the source is revealed.

Ms. Michaels has gone onto this reviewer’s list of authors to watch for and this reviewer does recommend JAGUAR’S RULE to lovers of the feline shifters. This is one enjoyable story and you are sure not to be disappointed.
