With conflicting emotions of love, trust, fear and death riding her, Prophecy has to believe in herself and in Valentine in order to survive long enough to be whatever the ancient prophecy has foretold of her. Definitely this was a character that had this reviewer sympathy as Prophecy raced against the clock and the evil stalking her. She made this reader want to hold her tight and whisper it would be alright. Meet Valentine, a powerful Vampire sent to execute the woman all believe is the destruction of their kind and ends up helping her find the answers to a past that she has no idea she had. With each page, this reviewer was drawn to his quiet strength and alpha personality though I do have to say Prophecy gave him a run for his money with his arrogance sometimes.

PROPHECY: CHILD OF LIGHT is the first of an epic Vampire series that will surely stun, delight and engross the reader with each sweep of its pages. Ms. Heaton delivers a timeless classic within her pages and captures the essence of the characters perfectly. With each page, this reviewer was drawn into the world of Vampires that this fabulous author created and now anxiously awaiting the second in the series, Prophecy: Caelestis and Aurorea coming in April 2007 and the final chapter, Prophecy: Dark Moon Rising coming in May 2007 from Alinar Publishing. Get ready to enter the epic battle as Prophecy and Valentine find themselves hunted by all they hold dear and race against the clock to find the answers they need to survive. Ms. Heaton captivates the reader from the beginning and this reviewer is highly recommending this new and mesmerizing series for a reader’s bookshelf.
