TEMPTING DARKNESS is a wonderful story of guilt, redemption and a love that finds the purest of souls in the darkest of the night. Author Rene Lyons captures the struggle Lucien has once he is made into a vampire and the fight to keep his oath to the Templer Knights while he fights the vampire nature coursing thru his veins. Each page is masterpiece in storytelling as the characters leap off the pages and take center stage in TEMPTING DARKNESS. Jessica is a character that will have the reader jumping to take care of and help her deal with the torment and darkness that surrounds her. The one person she can trust and rely on isn’t even a man but a 700 year old vampire. This reviewer was sucked into this world and kept on the edge of her set with each page. 

Ms. Lyons captivates the reader from the beginning in Tempting Darkness. As this reviewer hasn’t read the other Templer Knights books, it was a little confusing but felt this stood al one in this series. With each page, be prepared to be drawn into a dark world that will show Lucien and Jessica that the light will bring them untold riches in body, heart and soul. Can a vampire and a woman let the light shine through or will it be lost in the darkness?
