In this wonderful
fairytale story about a prince who is turned into a bear and his love,
Rosemary. There is fighting, spells, knights, dwarfs, and about anything
else you can think of. Rosemary lives with her mom, the enchantress and
her twin, Vanilla and when she finds a talking bear in the forest one day
he ends up being the kings’ eldest son,
Richard.
Richard
stays at Rosemary’s house while her mother searches for a spell to cure
him. During this time, Richard and
Rosemary
become friends and possibly more.
This book stood out
from other books that this reader has read in that it is possible to
believe that it really could have happened! This reviewer, honestly could
barely put the book down even though the story did start out slowly.
Rosemary’s emotions were very easy for this reviewer to relate too
especially when Rosemary explains how she feels everyone is ignoring her.
The suspense between Rosemary and
Richard
was almost unbearable at times; this reviewer might even say she could
feel her lips tingling with the desire for them to kiss each other. On
lack in the story however was the instances where the main characters was
had fallen asleep for weeks at a time, yet the reader is left wondering
what when on about her during those times. Overall, THE PRINCE IN THE
FLOWERBED was a good read and this reviewer looks forward to reading
the others in the series. This reviewer would recommend this book to
almost anyone who enjoys being swept away in a fairy tale and who enjoys a
sweet romance.
