Contemporary Romance

Lisane Deveraux is a successful lawyer and a passionate mistress after hours. She insists she’s happy and content until a surprise pregnancy changes everything.

Zac Winstone likes having the beautiful Lisane on his arm and in his bed. When she tells him about her pregnancy, he insists on commitment.

He’s a millionaire barrister from a privileged background but Lisane has worked for her place in life. The “L” word has never been mentioned, not even in the throes of passion. She longs to know if he wants her for more than his heir and their passion between the sheets. Lisane wants it all, but can she cope with a heartless marriage with the hope that things might change. Can Lisane win Zac’s heart and have a happy ever after?

This well-known author always delivers an interesting love story and THE MARRIAGE POSSESSION is no different. An interesting opening chapter captures the reader making them want to read on and learn more of about the hero and heroine’s world. The story has a depth and passion that readers can relate to on all levels. The heated passions between Lisane and Zac, sizzles off the pages during the bedroom scenes.

The character’s motivations are always clear cut and very easy to understand even when the emotional conflicts escalate. This is a slightly different take on a love triangle especially when it becomes an interesting four-way struggle plus a baby. THE MARRIAGE POSSESSION is very enjoyable story with a plot that flows smoothly with believable dialogue and an interesting twist. The secondary characters add another dimension to the action. The final scenes are well written as the conflicts and interference were finally resolved. The handsome sharp-minded hero is a man any woman could fall for and well matched with the heroine as a partner
