Once upon a time in Kingdom City there was an S & M parlor by the name of Wicked Stepmother and her Wicked Stepsisters.  At the helm of said ship was Edna Emily Argent Rella, the Wicked Stepmother.  She has been said to eat men alive as a dominatrix.  It is also rumored that she beat her stepdaughter who is now Queen Cynthia and because of that she is heavily in debt to the queen.  But sometimes rumors are just rumors with no truth to them.  Nothing proves that more than when a client refuses to be told what to do.  Edna thinks Frank is her stalker until he finally makes her understand that he is the Captain of the Queen’s Guard and he has been sent to catch her stalker.  In the process of all these realizations they both begin to understand who the real master is and who wants to be the slave. 

There is no doubt from the beginning to the end of this story who is in charge of things and Ms. Evans does a good job of conveying that.  It is entertaining to watch Edna try to regain her stance as dominatrix while acting as bait for her stalker after seeing her break so easily with Frank.  The inner turmoil they both have is well written and believable.  This reviewer highly recommends MAIN ATTRACTION, the first book in the Perfectly Wicked series.
