The heir of Arthur
is hiding on the Island of Prator and war is coming to claim his legacy.
Merlyn is missing since a long time and Morgain le Fey hasn’t forgotten
her promise to protect the bloodline. Although she misses him, she is mad
at him for spurning her for another and then forsaking her in the hour of
need. Merlyn believes that Morgain betrayed him and was responsible for
his prison in the Crystal Cave. He gets free, and has more than a score
to settle with the beautiful faery. There are battles to fight and a
passion he never expected to enjoy. As Merlyn and Morgaine face each
other, neither realize that his hardest battle will be to win her for his
own. In order to save all they love, they must pay a price that is not
only more than they imagined, but maybe more than they can bear.
This reviewer loves
the legends of King Arthur and his court. Annie Windsor has written a
wonderful twist on the tale and takes the story just that little bit
further with Merlyn getting out of his prison that Nimue lured him into
and the further adventures of Arthur’s children. It’s a wonderful,
fantastical tale that thrilled this reviewer. There is a good amount of
sex and plot mixed together to keep the reader totally captivated. Ms.
Windsor gives her reader dark, evil adversaries and great characters that
leap from the pages. Adventure and danger abound, and the romance between
Merlyn and Morgaine is sexy, sensuous and explosive. The reader will be
rooting for the both of them. Ms. Windsor introduces other characters to
give the story a touch of fun and add depth. Lovers of this legend will
enjoy it. For this reviewer, the story was a thrill and she can only very
highly recommend it.
