ZONER:

The world has changed. People can now receive enhancements in every area of their physical body. Corporations kidnap their personnel from other places. Jessman is such a man. He now works for NeuroTech who pays him more money and gives him more benefits. One of them is to hire a gunwhore for the night. He meets Bells who shows him the Sweet Sisters, pleasure and pain. After a night with Bells, he never wants to go back.

Jessman is falling for Bells. Bells knows he cannot stay with Jessman when people from the FreeZone depend on him to keep them safe. Then there are his other obligations...no. Jessman could provide him with a warm bed, some good food and some mind blowing sex. There is no way he would let down his professionalism and actually fall for Jessman.

THROUGH NEON EYES is a new series of short stories that tell one story in installments. Firstly we are introduced to the two main characters; Jessman, a researcher and Bells, a killer and prostitute. Michael Barnette has created a believable futuristic world where everything is provided for its inhabitants, including the air that it breathes. Of course, there are the lower classes who live outside the corporate world and have to find their own way. His characters are multi-dimensional and fans will be happy to see Bell’s again. Lovers of m/m romance will devour these stories. Mr. Barnette writes intense sex scenes full of passion. In fact, the main part of these stories is the sexual interaction between his characters which is far from boring. This reviewer is certainly looking forward to more stories from THROUGH NEON EYES.
