Fledge of the Ten
Nations Fair is a story witch. This spinner of tales embarks upon an
adventure of her own after discovering a winged man so beautiful in face
and form he could have been an angel fallen from grace. She removes him
from the ignonimy of a butcher’s pile thinking to give this being a decent
send off from the world and discovers that he yet lives.
The Aetherii keep
to themselves and are little known. When Miriliel the Burnished is saved
from death by an innocent and kind young woman, he is immediately
attracted to her and is determined to try to repay her somehow. He places
her under his care by the simple method of paying the creature in charge
for two weeks of her time. After all, as a scholar he needs a guide so
that he can study the Fair for entries in his encyclopedia.
The feelings
between them deepen from like and sexual play to love. There are
however, other things that Miriliel must see to. The fight that left
Mirry in a place of death led to his friend Janarnavriel the Noir’s
disappearance. The search will lead to something with which his logical
mind will be astounded.
Submerge yourself
in this searingly hot and riveting tale leaving reality behind for
awhile. The teller’s cadence lulls while entrancing wording draws vivid
portraits of the people and creatures inhabiting this world.
Most beguilingly
described are Mirry and Jan. Both are sensuous fantasies of feather,
flesh and sinuous tail. The knowledge of how to wield their bodies is
only one facet with which to fascinate the reader. It is the depth of
character and complex relationship that sharpens the picture of our heroes
bringing them to life before us.
The heroine may
think little of herself in the beginning but she is warm, giving and
intuitive. Fledge is greater than her name and readers will thoroughly
enjoy watching her grow to understand her own worth and strength.
Jan’s captor is a
cold, cruel beauty who receives much from the erotic torture she
inflicts. His experience at her hands and the battle he wages from his
bonds are integral to this story but make for darker reading.
There are many
entertainments at the Fair. Be sure to venture into this tent where the
magic of Story is to be found and prepare to be bewitched.
Readers should be
aware that this book has ménage a trois, m/m, and bondage scenes.
