DESIRE NEVER DIES is a sophomore hit from author Jenna Peterson. Her lyrical prose and descriptive storytelling captivate the reader from start to finish. With each page, this reviewer was drawn deeper into the world of master spies and a romance that seemed to slowly transform these two multidimensional characters.  

DESIRE NEVER DIES introduces Lady Anastasia Whittig, a master code breaker who has never worked in the field before. When she is told she has to work with Lucas Taylor, she never expects to find herself drawn to the seductive rogue nor so vexed by him as well. This darling of the ton was a engaging character, strong willed, mysterious and knows how to play the game of the ton. This reviewer was fascinated by the many facets of her personality and her willingness to do whatever it take to stop a madman from destroying her world. Lucas Taylor is an alpha male to the core, arrogant, sexy yet willing to do whatever it takes to stop this master criminal, even work with a greenhorn of a spy, abit one gorgeous one at that. When these two finally get together, the sparks fly and so does the pace. With a race against the clock, these two must learn to work together and find a way to stop the mastermind or all is lost. This reviewer was amazed by the dance these two characters do together in order to deny the threads that bind them and the love they find in themselves for the other. With the many twists and turns, the reader will find themselves rooting for Lucas and Anastasia to admit what is in their hearts and stop the evil around them.

If you like a fast paced historical romance, full of engaging characters, an intriguing storyline and a breathtaking storytelling that will keep you glued to the edge of your seat, then grab DESIRE NEVER DIES, author Jenna Peterson’s second book in her fascinating series of Lady Spies. This reviewer is looking forward to reading more from this author and this enigmatic series.
