Melissa has inherited her grandmother’s clock.  Her Grandmother also believes she shares the same gift for witchcraft but instead, Melissa has become an accountant.  The clock seems alive to Melissa and one night, on the stroke of midnight she is sucked inside.  There, she finds Jeremy who has haunted her dreams.  He’s been a prisoner of the clock for decades.  Jeremy is an empath and has fallen in love with her since Melissa came into possession of the clock.  Now he has the chance to show her just how real he is and how much he loves her.  It seems as if the clock has its own agenda and the only problem now is, how do they get back out into the real world? 

Amy O’Conner has written a hot little story about two people in different dimensions that find each other.  Who would have thought that a clock could have a mind of its own?  Ms. O’Connor has put a lot of tension, emotion and feelings into this short story and this reviewer is sure that readers will love it and want more.  Ms. O’Connor knows how to write some hot sex scenes that will get the reader squirming in her seat.  Jeremy has known of Melissa for some time as he senses her feelings when she touches the clock and he is more than ready for seduction when she arrives in his domain.  The ending of this story is a nice surprise and this reader enjoyed this satisfying read.
