Kate Brogan is a journalist who uses her column to keep political scum out of the running.  One of her latest exposures shows what Jordan King has been up to by wrecking marriages and being a wealthy playboy.  Her column upsets her fiancé as he needs Jordan on his side for a business deal, but she never expects him to show his disrespect of her career by not supporting her choice to run the column. 

Jordan cannot let his reputation be ruined by Kate.  He is trying to get a camp for disadvantaged kids up and running and needs the support of the community.  When Jordan sets out to convince Kate he is not the bastard she thinks he is, she ends up teaching him a few lessons of her own. 

MR. IRRESISTIBLE is a novel filled with twists and turns that will leave readers laughing and cringing at the same time.  Secondary characters in this novel will leave readers wanting more details, and hoping for spin offs from this novel.  Jordan’s ties to his ex-girlfriend’s son my leave Kate wondering just how many layers are in this guys psyche but they left this reader wondering just want will happen to Dillon’s mom and dad, will they get back together?  This reader can’t wait to see what Karina Bliss has up her sleeves next!  Mr. Perfect,  her debut novel, was great, but this novel was the bomb, and hopefully this Australian author has more surprises to come. 

Kate is a wonderful heroine who overcomes her past to accept that maybe safe and secure is not all it is cracked up to be when it comes to matters of the heart.  She finds lust with Jordan and knows her dreams may come true if she lightens up and lets go.  Jordan wants to want marriage, but is scared of true commitment.  When he decides what he wants, he tries to run and finds that running might not be in his best laid plans.  He knows when he has lost, and manages to let his heart rule.  These two make a great love story and as in all great romances come complete with a touching happily ever after.
