Historical Romance

Revenge Driven Bethany, the locktender’s daughter sets out to find her late husband’s killer with the killer’s very own nephew. Bethany does not even know about whom Tyler’s uncle is, until one of her would-be-suitors tells her.  Unknown to Bethany Josiah’s nephew, Tyler is after her own heart. After Bethany’s fiancé died her heart built walls around itself, blocking it from the world, however Tyler plans to scale each and every one of those walls.  There may be a few bumps in the climb though.  Will Tyler get to her heart?  Will Bethany get her revenge on Josiah?

THE LOCKTENDER’S DAUGHTER got a five because of Marguerite Arotin’s natural ability to keep this reader always interested.  This writer used the very captivating element of envy and vengeance and sometimes even a little bit of danger with Bethany and Tyler as they embarked on their journey to find Tyler’s uncle.  Anyone who reads this book will easily be able to see that the characters connected with each other very well. The characters also connected well with this reviewer.  The plotline for THE LOCKTENDER’S DAUGHTER was very believable, the author made it this way by using the old horse robberies as a setting in her story.  The way Bethany was always trying to resist Tyler, and with each try she had less success was also very captivating.
