Rath accompanies Dàn to Niagara Falls to find a demon named Grant.  Dàn hopes that this demon can tell him something about his father.  Infact, there is a slim chance that he may even be Dàn’s father.  They meet a playboy, sex demon who seems to think that Dàn needs to loosen up.  While Dàn is getting his answers, Rath is falling for an exotic dancer who needs him to protect her daughter.  A pedophile is after her.  A troublesome Gypsy girl turns out to be more than she seems and a rogue wolf, a would-be hunter and winning at a casino all keep Dàn and his friends more than on their toes.  Dàn needs to also keep the voices in his head at bay which leave him incapable of being a help to anybody.   

A great sequel to the first in this very exciting series, DESTINY tells the reader more about Dàn, a very complicated character who is not quite sure of who he is and what he is capable of.  L Shannon has expertly woven together different kinds of paranormal and mythical creatures with a plot that will hold the reader’s attention until the very last pages.  This reviewer just couldn’t stop reading until the end.  The plot moves along at a nice pace, never gets boring and is suspenseful enough to make the reader want to know what happens next.  There is a good dose of emotion and sexual tension that gives thrills and chills.  There is also a slightly dark side to this story, but also well balanced with some lighter moments.  A fantastic read!!
