Contemporary Romance

Sara Daly has fought to earn her place as executive assistant to Elan Al Masur and is not giving up her new job without a fight.  Mr. Al Masur may want a mature woman with gray hair to work for him, but she is qualified – and she needs the job she has moved away from her family to accept.

Elan has had it with women who throw themselves at him, wanting his money and his lifestyle.  He needs an assistant who can keep her mind on business and not be swayed into thinking about things that will never happen.  When he meets Sara he sees inner beauty, instead of an overdressed woman who is only in search of a rich husband.  He decides to take her up on her offer to work for one month, before firing her because she threatens to sue over age discrimination, however he never dreams she will live up to her promise and make him see her capable as his assistant.

THE BOSS’S DEMAND is filled with tension and power.  Both Elan and Sara are driven to succeed and see love as something that can not be a part of their relationship.  Yet chemistry plays a big part in bring them together when they do their best to fight lust.

Jennifer Lewis is a talented writer who gives her characters depth and feelings.  Her hero is a alpha male who doesn’t know the meaning of the word, “no” and her strong minded heroine teaches him that he doesn’t always have the upper hand.  When these two characters lock horns, sparks fly and the pages sizzle with tension and desire.

THE BOSS’S DEMAND was a fast paced enjoyable read that will remain a part of this reader’s collection, and Ms. Lewis’ future novels will be placed on auto buy.  This reviewer highly recommends all readers of the Silhouette line make sure this novel is on their bookcase, it is not to be missed.
