Jade Oliver’s
father passed away four months ago, leaving her stepmother the heir of his
estate. Jade’s father left her a map that shows her where an opal mine is
on the property so she decides the best way to have access to the property
is to acquire a job working as the bookkeeper for the station.
Blake Jordan is the
sexy Texas rancher who bought Stony Creek Station from Jade’s stepmother
and the man of Jade’s dreams. Trying to seek out the opal mine and find a
way into Blake Jordan’s heart is not as easy as Jade originally
anticipates. To find the mine she needs time away from Blake but to get
closer to Blake she needs to spend more time with him.
One of the most
amusing parts of this book is the cultural difference between Blake and
Jade. Blake continuously uses American phrases that make no sense to
Australian Jade. Jade’s endless ramblings about insignificant things
drive’s Blake insane at first but as time goes by he finds that he misses
it when she is not around.
The book moves
along at a steady pace keeping the reader from becoming bored and losing
interest. The intimate scenes between Blake and Jade are not so intense
as to turn off readers who might not like the explicit stuff yet are
steamy enough to show how passionate the lovers are.
Jade and Blake are
a super couple and PRICELESS PRINCESS is a great book that is well
worth the read. This reviewer would love to read the first book in this
series PRINCESS FOR SALE that is about Jade’s friend Lara; however, it is
not necessary to read it to be able to enjoy PRICELESS PRINCESS.
