Lady
Georgina Maitland needs a steward, not a husband, but when she meets Harry
Pye she is no longer interested in him as a servant but as a man.
Unfortunately they can’t indulge in their discreet liaison, because the
country is in uproar about poisoned sheep, murdered villagers and a
magistrate who is out for revenge. Very soon Georgina has to do her best
keep Harry away from the hangman’s noose, when he becomes the victim of a
treacherous plot against him.
Ms
Hoyt’s debut novel was terrific and this reviewer thought she couldn’t
write any better but THE LEOPARD PRINCE is even more fantastic. Ms.
Hoyt has a style that combines funny, sensual and intriguing elements into
a very unusual story. Even her hero and heroine are not the typical
characters that you know from other historical
romance authors, they are unique in their own way. This seems to be Ms
Hoyt’s personal trademark and that’s one of the reasons why she is on this
reviewer’s auto-buy list. You can’t go wrong with one of her books.
THE
LEOPARD PRINCE
is connected to The Raven Prince, but it can be read as a
stand-alone, although you will miss a really great book.
This
reviewer can highly recommend the book to all fans of Historical Romances
that are not set in the typical time-periods. This book has unique and
absolutely loveable characters!
Keep
your eyes open for Ms. Hoyt’s next novel The Serpent Prince
which will be released in September
