Closing Time

Evelyn wants excitement in her life, but this head librarian can’t risk finding it in the small town of Esmerelda, without putting her job on the line. So she spends her weekends in Boston, where no one knows her name.

In Boston where the nightlife is anything but boring, Evie meets a rock musician named Reuben. They share a smoldering encounter back stage that leads to him giving her everything she longs for in a sexual relationship. But when he wants more than just a sexual relationship, will Evie risk the possibility of shame from her quiet town or will she tell him she can’t offer more?

CLOSING TIME is a story about taking risks. Do you sacrifice your heart for what others will think of you? Ms. Dane really touched this reviewer with this plot. Too many times people give up on the possibilities of true love for fear of what others will think.

Evelyn is a not only victim of fear of repercussions, but a woman who’s mother left her as a child, never looking back. So not only must she risk her reputation she must risk her heart being broken once again. She has to face her demons before she can allow herself happiness.

Reuben is a hero who is determined to drive the demons away and show Evelyn that she has so much to give. But he’s also a man who can’t wait forever.

CLOSING TIME is also about sex! Ms. Dane creates some steamy scenes that will leave you breathless and craving more. This hero and heroine reach some high notes, if you know what I mean!
