Erica Bain owns and
runs a one pilot company. She flies wherever her passengers want her to.
Her latest job has her flying some rich hunters to their hunting grounds,
but they suddenly change their flight plan in mid-flight and head off to
another area. On her way back, her plane catches fire and she barely
makes it back to a weather station. The only man who works there has the
reputation of a “charming personality”. Lothar has been around a long
time. He’s seen a lot, done a lot and has been a very bad boy. So bad
that he’s hidden himself away at the weather station until Erica literally
falls from the sky. He’s powerfully attracted to her, but for her own
safety, she cannot stay with him. Looks like fate is stepping in and
there is no way she can leave until her plane is fixed. Well, he can
control himself...or can he? Things heat up when they suddenly join the
hunters...as the hunted and Lothar has to show her his terrible secret.
Erica has just broken down the defense around his heart and now she may go
running.
This is a stand
alone story, but it is recommended that the reader also reads WOLFSBANE.
In Bain’s Wolf Nathalie Gray pulls her reader into an exciting,
sexy story that will hold her captive and have her breathless at the end.
This is a power driven tale that takes off on the first page with a rush,
and lands on the last page with two characters who have finally found the
road to true love. They say opposites attract, and here it is so. Erica
is a happy-go-lucky type and Lothar is a tortured recluse who feels very
undeserving of happiness. This reviewer fell in love with Lothar and
applauded a heroine who showed no signs of fear around this brooding man.
The sexual tension is high and this reviewer had to smile as Lothar took
care of his mounting sexual frustrations by viciously chopping wood. Ms.
Gray writes prose that describes scenes and feelings in a vivid and
vibrant way. She writes hot sex scenes that are passionate and that will
have the reader reaching for a bucket of ice. This reviewer can only
highly recommend this terrific read.
